Who We Are
Our Story
NextStep Europe was created from personal experience.
I am a dual language teacher who originally came from Italy to study in the United States. My husband is from Mexico and also arrived in the U.S. as an international student. Together, we built our life here and have called the United States home for over 30 years.
Like many families, everything changed when it was time for our children to start planning for college.
As we began researching universities, we quickly realized how overwhelming and expensive higher education in the U.S. had become. Even with hard work and careful planning, the cost of college felt out of reach for many families.
Because our children are European citizens and we understand how the European education system works, we started exploring university options abroad. What we discovered was eye opening. Tuition in many European countries was dramatically lower than in the U.S., even for international students, and there were thousands of high quality bachelor’s and master’s programs taught entirely in English.
That experience inspired us to create NextStep Europe.
We started this company to help other families navigate the same journey, offering clear guidance, personalized university matching, and step by step support. Our goal is simple: to make studying in Europe accessible, affordable, and achievable for students who want a world class education without overwhelming debt.
Today, we are proud to guide families through this process with honesty, care, and firsthand knowledge, helping students take their next step toward a global future.
